Sport & Confidence for Children
Sport & Confidence for Children is an educational sports programme designed to support the holistic development of children aged 6 to 12 years. Through regular, supervised sporting activities, the programme helps children build self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and respect for others. Sport is used as a powerful educational tool to teach positive values such as fair play, inclusion, tolerance, and perseverance.
Special attention is given to ensuring equal participation for all children, regardless of gender, ability, or background. Trained facilitators and coaches create a safe and encouraging environment where children can develop both physical skills and social-emotional competencies, contributing to their overall well-being and personal growth.
Child Voice & Mediation
Child Voice & Mediation provides safe, confidential, and child-friendly spaces where children and adolescents can express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns freely. The programme is based on the principle that children have the right to be heard in matters affecting their lives.
Through guided listening sessions, dialogue workshops, and mediation activities, trained staff help children articulate their feelings, resolve conflicts peacefully, and develop communication and emotional skills. The programme also supports constructive dialogue between children, families, schools, and communities, helping to prevent misunderstandings, violence, and exclusion while promoting mutual respect and understanding.
Living Library – Seniors & Youth
The Living Library – Seniors & Youth programme is an intergenerational initiative that recognizes seniors as “living libraries”—valuable carriers of knowledge, culture, and life experience. Seniors are invited to share personal stories, skills, traditions, and lessons learned with children and young people in structured, respectful settings.
Through storytelling sessions, mentorship activities, and cultural exchanges, this programme fosters mutual respect, strengthens social bonds, and promotes intergenerational learning. Youth benefit from guidance and inspiration, while seniors gain recognition, social connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. The programme helps preserve cultural heritage while building bridges between generations.
