MEMBERSHIP AND COLLABORATION CONDITIONS

1️⃣ CONDITIONS FOR BECOMING A MEMBER OF AFRICA 4EVER

🎯 General Principle

Africa 4ever welcomes as members any individual or organization wishing to support its objectives and share its core values, in accordance with the association’s statutes and ethical rules.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

Any individual or entity may become a member if they:
• fully adhere to the goals, values, and principles of Africa 4ever;

• recognize the absolute priority of the well-being, dignity, and rights of the child;

• commit to respecting:

• the statutes,

• the Charter of the Rights of the Child – Africa 4ever,

• the Code of Conduct & Safeguarding Policy,

• the internal regulations;

• adopt respectful, ethical behavior that complies with applicable laws.

👥 Membership Categories

Active Member: participates in activities and the association’s life;

Supporting Member: provides moral, financial, or occasional support;

Honorary Member: an honorary distinction awarded by the association.

📝 Membership Procedure

• Submission of a written application or via the official form;

• Review of the application by the Committee;

• Reasoned decision to accept or reject the application.

⚖️ Rights and Obligations

Members agree to:

• respect the decisions of Africa 4ever’s governing bodies;

• promote the image, values, and objectives of the association;

• refrain from any behavior that harms the association or children.

Membership may be suspended or terminated in the event of serious misconduct.

2️⃣ CONDITIONS FOR BECOMING A MISSIONARY

(International Representative)

🎯 General Principle

A missionary is a person mandated by Africa 4ever to represent the organization in a specific country, under a written mandate agreement.

The missionary acts on behalf of Africa 4ever, without being an organ or employee of the organization.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

Anyone who meets the following criteria may be appointed as a missionary:

• fully shares the values and objectives of Africa 4ever;

• demonstrates impeccable moral integrity;

• places the well-being and protection of children as their absolute priority;

• has sufficient knowledge of the local context (social, cultural, legal);

• has a reputation compatible with the responsibilities entrusted to them.

⚠️ Mandatory Conditions

The missionary must:

• sign a written mandate agreement;

• formally accept:

• the statutes,

• the Charter of Children’s Rights,

• the Code of Conduct & Safeguarding Policy;

• declare that they have no criminal record incompatible with child protection;

• commit to respecting:

• Swiss law (reference framework),

• the laws of the country of representation.

🏛️ Appointment and Supervision

• Appointment decided by the Committee;

• Validation, supervision, and revocation ensured by the CEO.

Any exceeding the mandate will result in the missionary’s personal liability.

3️⃣ CONDITIONS FOR BECOMING AN AFRICA 4EVER PARTNER

🎯 General Principle

Africa 4ever collaborates with institutional or private partners who share its values and are committed to respecting children’s rights.

✅ Partner Eligibility

The following may become partners:

• public or semi-public institutions;

• associations and NGOs;

• businesses and foundations;

• community or educational organizations.

⚖️ Selection Criteria

The partner must:

• pursue objectives compatible with those of Africa 4ever;

• respect human rights, non-discrimination, and child protection;

• refrain from engaging in activities contrary to ethics, the law, or human dignity.

📝 Collaboration Framework

All collaborations are subject to:

• a written agreement or convention;

• compliance with the statutes, charters, and ethical rules of Africa 4ever;

• the maintenance of the legal and financial independence of each party.

4️⃣ REFUSAL – SUSPENSION – EXCLUSION

Africa 4ever reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or exclude any member, missionary, or partner in the event of:

• non-compliance with the statutes or regulations;

• harm to the rights or well-being of a child;

• behavior detrimental to the organization;

• serious violation of ethical principles.

The right to be heard is guaranteed.

5️⃣ APPLICABLE LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law, in particular Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code,

while respecting the legal obligations of member states or countries of representation
